    ​Signing a cooperation agreement to organize the second national forum for the sustainability of family businesses


    Asharqia Chamber signed a cooperation agreement with the National Center for Family Establishments on Thursday, August 18, 2022, aimed at cooperating in scientific and technical fields and exchanging experiences to organize the second National Forum for the Sustainability of Family Establishments to be held in December.​​

    The cooperation agreement was signed by the Chamber’s Secretary-General, Abdul Rahman bin Abdullah Al-Wabel, and the CEO of the National Center for Family Enterprises, Dr. A’idh bin Ibrahim Al-Mubarak. The agreement aims to enhance aspects of cooperation and coordination to serve the objectives of organizing the forum, in addition to integration in preparing the executive plans for the forum.

    The agreement also aims to provide support for everything that would advance the family business sector through the forum and enhance cooperation in attracting expertise and competencies to improve the services of the business sector, and coordination and integration to serve the objectives of both parties, according to the items it included.

    The agreement reflects the Chamber and the Center's keenness to cooperate in implementing programs that contribute to the development of the family business sector by providing expertise and research studies that help ensure the continuity of companies for several generations to come, and achieve sustainable development for them, in addition to the following governance and listing policies, settling disputes, and addressing the challenges they face.​
